OnePage UK ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
OnePage UK is a website-building service operated by Allan Fenton, based in [Dundee, United Kingdom]. We are the data controller for the personal data we process. Contact: hello@onepageuk.co.uk.
What we collect
When you sign up to OnePage UK, we collect:
- Identity data: your full name and business name
- Contact data: email address, phone number
- Business data: description of your business, links to your social profiles, brand preferences, photos and logos you provide
- Payment data: processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
- Address data: where required for billing or for posting your printed cards
How we use your data
- To provide and operate your OnePage UK website (lawful basis: contract performance)
- To process your payments and subscription (lawful basis: contract performance)
- To communicate with you about your account, site updates, payment issues (lawful basis: contract performance and legitimate interest)
- To comply with our legal obligations (lawful basis: legal obligation)
Where we store data
- Client records: on Allan's secure local computer
- Email correspondence: Google Workspace (Gmail), hosted in the EU
- Payment data: Stripe (Stripe handle this directly — see Stripe's privacy policy)
- Live websites: Cloudflare Pages
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as you are an active client, plus 6 years after you cancel (to meet UK tax and accounting requirements). After that, your data is deleted unless you ask us to keep it on file in case you return to the service.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

Cookies
The OnePage UK marketing site uses essential cookies only. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) sets security cookies which are exempt from consent under PECR. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
Individual client sites we build for you may include third-party embeds (e.g. Stripe checkout, social media links) that drop their own cookies when clicked. Each client site has its own privacy notice in the footer covering this.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
